You just finished watching District 9 on Netflix. You’re probably sitting on your couch, staring at the credits, totally shook by that final shot of Wikus making a metal flower in the junkyard. You are wiping away a tear (it’s okay, I did too) and screaming at your TV: “It’s been way more than three years, Christopher! Where are you?!”
Since District 9 is currently trending in the Top 10, a whole new wave of us are asking the same question. It has been over 15 years since that prawn-filled masterpiece hit theaters in 2009. We were promised a return. We were promised a cure.
